IndusAGI Labs focuses on client services while continuing open-source AI research and product development in parallel. These activities have different rhythms. A client project begins with an agreed business need and a delivery scope. Research begins with a question to investigate. Keeping those purposes clear helps us explore new ideas while staying responsible for the work customers ask us to deliver.

Start client work with the requirement

A business should not need to adopt an experimental idea simply because it interests us. We begin with the workflow, website or software requirement, then choose an approach that fits the scope. Sometimes a straightforward implementation is the useful answer. When a newer technique might help, it needs a clear reason to be considered and an honest explanation of what remains uncertain.

Give experiments room to be experiments

Research can explore questions about agents, tools, models and how software systems work together. An experiment may produce something useful, reveal a limitation or suggest a different question. Those are learning outcomes, and they should be described accurately. A promising demonstration does not automatically establish how a system will behave in every environment. We want our public explanations to preserve that distinction.

Start with a clear purpose. Build something people can actually use.

Evaluate ideas against the task

Before introducing an experimental component into client work, define what it needs to do and how its output will be reviewed. Consider the operating effort, integration work and fallback path as well as the demonstration itself. Use representative examples and document limitations that matter to the project. The question is whether the approach is appropriate for this task and the people who will maintain it.

Let the two tracks inform each other

Client conversations reveal practical questions worth understanding. Research gives us space to investigate ideas beyond a single delivery. We see value in that exchange without assuming every experiment becomes a product or every project needs advanced AI. Our service work remains focused on useful websites, software, automation and creative support. Alongside it, open-source exploration remains a place to learn, test ideas and contribute work as it becomes ready to share.
